§ 1. Definitions

1.1. Terms used in the Terms and Conditions and written with a capital letter have the following meanings:

(b) Privacy Policy – a document containing information on the processing of personal data by the Law Firm;

(c) Terms and Conditions – these terms and conditions;

(d) Website – the website available at www.ip-tax.pl, administered and operated by the Law Firm;

(e) Services – services provided on the Website, i.e. the service of making the content of the Website available and the service of sending messages using the Contact Form;

(f) Contact Form – a form available on the Website, enabling the User to send an inquiry or other message to the Law Firm;

(g) User – any person using the Website.

§ 2. About the Terms and Conditions

2.1. The Terms and Conditions define the rules for the use of the Website by Users, the scope, conditions, and rules for the provision of Services, as well as the complaint procedure.

2.2. The Terms and Conditions contain the information referred to in Article 173 of the Act of July 16, 2004, Telecommunications Law (Journal of Laws 2020.374).

2.3. The Terms and Conditions are available free of charge in a form that allows them to be downloaded, recorded, stored, and reproduced using any technique on any media for purposes related to the use of the Website and the Services provided on it.
2.4. Use of the Website constitutes acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.

§ 3. Rights and obligations of Users

3.1. Use of the Services is voluntary and free of charge for all Users.

3.2. Notwithstanding the above rule of free of charge Services, when using the Services, the User shall bear the costs associated with using the Internet network they use. The costs of connecting to the Internet correspond to the rates of the User's network operator.

3.3. The User is obliged to use the Services in accordance with the rules set out in the Terms and Conditions, respecting the law and the principles of social coexistence.

3.4. The User is not entitled to provide illegal content when using the Services.

3.5. When using the Services, the User shall not provide false or misleading information or data.

3.6. The User may opt out of using the Services at any time.

§ 4. Technical requirements

4.1. In order to use the Services properly, it is necessary to have a computer or other device with Internet access and a properly installed and configured web browser, e.g., Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Opera, Google Chrome, or Safari.

§ 5. Content on the Website

5.1. The Website presents information about the Law Firm and the services it provides, as well as other information and articles. All content posted on the Website is for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice from the Law Firm.
5.2. The materials contained on the Website, in particular texts, images, graphics, content, layout, and composition of these elements (the so-called layout), are protected by copyright and may not be distributed, modified, or copied in whole or in part without the prior written consent of the entitled entity (except for use within the scope of fair use or in any other manner consistent with the law).

§ 6. Use of the Contact Form

6.1. The Contact Form allows you to send inquiries or other messages to the Law Firm via the Website.

6.2. To send a message using the Contact Form, you must fill in the fields marked with an asterisk (required fields), confirm your acceptance of the Terms and Conditions, enter the content of the message, and click on the “Send” button.

6.3. After fulfilling the conditions referred to in the above paragraph, by clicking on the “Send” button, the User agrees to the immediate commencement of the service using the Contact Form.

6.4. The Law Firm will respond to the User's message as soon as possible, within 5 business days.

§ 7. Cookies

7.1. The website uses cookies.

7.2. Cookies are small pieces of text information in the form of text files sent by the server and stored on the end device (e.g., computer, phone, tablet) of users visiting websites.

7.3. The Law Firm uses the information contained in cookies to ensure the proper functioning of the Website (including the display of individual pages and content) and to conduct anonymous statistics and other analytical activities related to the use of the Website.

7.4. The user may restrict or prevent the storage of cookies on their end device by configuring their web browser accordingly, as well as change the existing settings. The user may also delete cookies already stored on their end device using the appropriate browser functions or other software designed for this purpose.

7.6. The Website uses the following types of cookies:

(a) session cookies (used to ensure the use of the Website within a given session and traffic analytics; they are automatically deleted after the session ends);

(b) third-party cookies (ensuring more efficient use of links to the Law Firm's profiles on LinkedIn, including session sharing, and conducting traffic analysis and statistics (Google Analytics).

§ 8. Processing of personal data

8.1. The Law Firm is the controller of personal data received in connection with the provision of Services. The rules for the processing of personal data by the Law Firm are set out in the Privacy Policy.

§ 9. Complaint procedure

9.1. Complaints regarding the use of the Services may be submitted to the Law Firm by e-mail or by post to the addresses of the Law Firm indicated in § 1 of the Regulations.

9.2. The Law Firm is responsible for considering complaints.

9.3. The deadline for considering a complaint is fourteen (14) days from the date of submission.

9.4. The complaint should include a description of the problem and the User's contact details so that a response to the complaint can be sent to them.

9.5. Information about the consideration of the complaint will be sent to the email address provided by the User or in another manner indicated by them.

§ 10. Liability

10.1. For technical reasons or due to malfunctions, temporary difficulties in using the Website or its temporary unavailability may occur.

10.2. The Website may contain references and links to other websites and other online services. By using such a reference or link, the User is transferred to a website belonging to another entity, which is responsible for the content posted on it, as well as for the processing of personal data of visitors to the website.

§ 11. Amendments to the Terms and Conditions

11.1. The Law Firm may amend the Terms and Conditions if at least one of the following important reasons occurs:

(a) changes in the terms of use of the Services that do not worsen the User's situation compared to the previous one;

(b) the need to update the Law Firm's data;

(c) changes in the manner of providing the Services related to the appearance of new functionalities or the removal of existing ones;

(d) changes in the provisions of applicable law that regulate the Law Firm's business or that affect the mutual rights and obligations of the Law Firm and the User, or the issuance of a judgment or decision that may affect the Law Firm's business and, as a result, the mutual rights and obligations of the Law Firm and the User;

(e) changes in the functioning of the Services resulting from objective and independent technical or technological reasons.
11.2. The Law Firm shall notify users of any changes to the Terms and Conditions by publishing the new version on the Website, unless otherwise required by applicable law or a decision of an authority or court.

11.3. Users may opt out of using the Services at any time if they do not accept the content of the new version of the Terms and Conditions.

§ 12. Final provisions

12.1. The Terms and Conditions shall be effective as of October 26, 2025.

12.2. The Terms and Conditions are available on the Website and at the Law Firm's office.

12.3. Any disputes or claims related to the use of the Website shall be settled by a common court in the Republic of Poland, and the applicable law for the Terms and Conditions is Polish law, unless otherwise provided by mandatory provisions of law. The choice of Polish law under the Terms and Conditions does not deprive the user who is a consumer of the protection granted to him under provisions that cannot be excluded by agreement between the Law Firm and the User, under the law which, in accordance with the relevant regulations, would be applicable in the absence of such a choice.

12.4. None of the provisions of the Terms and Conditions shall limit the consumer's rights under applicable law.
